If the entire castle gets reset - which it must, then leaving a message would be nearly impossible. Our bodies would also have to be reset... or else I'd suggest leaving a scar.
We haven't spent much time looking for secret messages or clues we might have left either. I suppose we'd only realize something was wrong toward the end of the week.
